From these preliminary observations, Aliquantum developed its three essential design elements: Function, Aesthetics and Quality.

FUNCTION

In a time where housing lots are smaller and houses are being built closer to neighbours’ boundaries, there are a wide range of privacy concerns that are being met by Aliquantum. While many solutions meet customers’ privacy needs, our products also comply with the R Code regulations.

For our shade products, basic design principles have long held that the best way to cool your home naturally is to allow the effects of cross ventilation and shading to cool your home. Wide verandas combined with well placed window / door openings have been the traditional methods for providing relief. Unfortunately, many new Australian homes and offices lack one or both of these elements.

With climate change (global warming) playing an increasingly important factor in building design, the functionality of shade products has become even more important. Aliquantum’s awnings help minimise power consumption through correct placement of shade over windows or doors. Our awnings have been designed with a small gap at the apex to provide an effective “flue” that allows heated air to dissipate up and away from the window, allowing windows to be open and permitting cross-breeze ventilation / cooling. Reliance on alternative cooling (i.e. air-conditioning) is reduced. Aliquantum products are designed and manufactured in Australia for Australians.

This strong, corrosion resistant material is ideal for installations throughout the nation. It is especially good for high corrosion coastal areas. Our timber is milled from rough stock through to final finishing so that we can ensure our timbers match and are of a consistent quality.

Aliquantum awnings feature high quality, durable fabrics, all of which are warranted colourfast, mildew resistant and are available in a wide array of colours and textures. All Aliquantum coverings are backed by the individual manufacturer for five years. There is a one-year warranty on manufacturing and installation workmanship.
